Version 1.0 — In effect from 29 April 2026
These terms and conditions apply to every use of the Kwenta service, offered by vivaden.be, Runcvoort 42, 2170 Merksem, Belgium (hereafter: “vivaden.be”, “we” or “us”).
By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
These terms apply to consumers (B2C). The service is intended solely for personal, household use — not for commercial or professional purposes.
Kwenta is a personal budgeting platform that helps households track income, expenses, savings goals and financial planning.
vivaden.be is not a bank, lender, payment service provider or investment firm. The service provides no financial, legal or tax advice. All insights and calculations in the app are informative and based on data entered by the user. Consult a licensed adviser for personal financial advice.
To use the service you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. vivaden.be accepts no liability for damage caused by unauthorised use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Minors may not use the service.
The free plan covers one household profile. You may not create multiple accounts in order to work around free-plan limits.
The free plan is available without a time limit, with reduced functionality (see the pricing page). vivaden.be reserves the right to change the functionality of the free plan with reasonable prior notice.
The Premium subscription is available monthly or yearly at the prices in force at the time of purchase. Prices are shown including 21% Belgian VAT on digital services.
vivaden.be may change its prices. Existing subscribers are informed of price changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
In accordance with the Belgian Act of 6 April 2010 on market practices and consumer protection and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have as a consumer a right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the start of the subscription. If, however, you expressly request the service before the withdrawal period expires and agree that the right of withdrawal lapses on full performance, you lose the right of withdrawal as soon as the service has been fully performed.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at hallo@vivaden.be.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage billing in the app, or through hallo@vivaden.be. After cancellation you keep access to the Premium features until the end of the current billing period. No refund is given for the unused period, except where the right of withdrawal applies.
You can have your account and all associated data permanently deleted via Settings or by contacting us by email. After deletion your data is definitively erased within 30 days, with the exception of billing data we are legally required to retain.
vivaden.be reserves the right to terminate or suspend an account in the event of abuse, fraud, breach of these terms or legal requirements. If vivaden.be terminates without good cause, you receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining paid period.
All rights to the Kwenta software, its design, its texts and its brand name belong to vivaden.be. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal purposes.
The financial data you enter remains your property. You grant vivaden.be a limited licence to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
The service is a tool for personal budget management. vivaden.be is not liable for financial decisions you make on the basis of the information in the app. The calculations and insights are informative and based on the data you entered.
To the extent permitted by law, vivaden.be's liability is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees over the past 12 months.
vivaden.be aims for availability of at least 99.5% per month, but gives no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance is announced in advance.
Although vivaden.be makes regular backups, we recommend that you periodically download a CSV export as your own backup copy.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes are preferably settled amicably. To that end, first contact us at hallo@vivaden.be.
If no amicable settlement is possible, the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law designates a different competent court.
As a consumer you can also turn to the European Commission's ODR platform (Online Dispute Resolution).
vivaden.be may amend these terms. In the event of material changes we will inform you at least 30 days in advance by email or through a notice in the app. Your continued use of the service after the effective date counts as acceptance of the amended terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account free of charge.
